IVS Messages for Oct. 28th

Good Day IVS Families!

WITS Kickoff – IVS had our WITS kick off today to launch this anti bullying program designed to teach students practical strategies to deal with conflict and create a common language in our school community.  WITS stands for Walk Away, Ignore, Talk it Out, Seek Help.  We were thrilled to have first responders on hand to help launch the program and make each student a “special WITS deputy”.  Thank you to officers: Ms. Spence, Mr. MacRae, Mr. Metcalf, Ms. Hobbs, Firefighters: Mr. Curtis and Mr. Kearney and EMT/Paramedic: Mr. Dean.

Hot Lunch Volunteers – We are needing help with our daily hot lunch distribution. Please contact Joanne McGrath at joanne.mcgrath@nbed.nb.ca for more information or if you are able to volunteer.
